What you type into the tools stays on your device

The paycheque calculator, card finder, checklist and TFSA calculator run entirely in your browser. Your wage, spending and other inputs are not sent to us. To remember your choices between visits, they’re saved in your browser’s local storage, and you can clear them at any time by clearing your browser data for smartfin.ca.

Newsletter

If you subscribe, we store your email address, the topics you chose and when you signed up and confirmed. We use it only to send the emails you asked for. We send a confirmation email first, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. We don’t sell or share your email. Emails are delivered by our email provider, Resend.

Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics to count page views. These don’t identify you or track you across other sites.

Links to other sites

Apply buttons and some links take you to banks and other sites. Their privacy policies apply once you’re there.
